This is an excellent free app. Most travel guides have phrase listings included. These have phonetic pronunciation guides. If you havent heard a language spoken these dont work too well. The beauty of this app is you actually hear the most common phrases spoken. As far as learning how to speak a few phrases such that a Turkish speaker can figure out what youre saying this is great.
My friend and I are traveling to Turkey soon and this app has been so helpfull.I had purchased a CD type set at a book store that was not as helpful and much more expensive.Plus it is so easy to access . Thesekkurler
Its amazing now i can speak a little beat turkish language and its free whith audio conversation teshekurlar to World nomads
After a week or so of practice, I couldnt even remember the word "thank you" in Turkish until I downloaded this. Really useful, and a great conversation piece when talking to Turkish people. I was really dependent on the audio bits so really missed them on the parts they werent there. Just downloaded the Thai version. Wish me luck!

Be great if audio worked... And yes my sound in on and volume turned up. Tried everything but no Audio...
